José Alexandre Ferreira is a luminary in the realm of Chemistry and Food Chemistry, culminating in a PhD that explored the intricacies of glycochemistry in collaboration with the University of Guelph, Canada. His groundbreaking research during his doctoral studies focused on identifying antigenic glycans within the H. pylori pathogen, shedding light on its link to gastric cancer.
