Rossana Mendes Fonseca has been developing a visual and written body of work for over thirteen years.
With a degree in Photography from the Paris Photographic Institute Spéos and a Master's in Art Studies - Theory and Critique of Art from the Faculty of Fine Art of the University of Porto, she was a research member of the Aesthetics, Politics and Art research group in the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Porto for seven years. She is now a PhD candidate in Contemporary Art, at the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra.
Co-founder and creative director of VOYEUR creative lab, she has been producing audiovisual and written content, bridging the gap between emerging brands in the digital environment and creatives from different areas. Based at CRU creative hub, she is also responsible for curating the art exhibit programme.
She has taught several practical and theoretical subjects, over the years, in Escola Superior de Edução de Viseu, in Escola Artística Soares dos Reis and in Balleteatro Escola Profissional.
